Dry sauna sessions: what to expect and the benefits
Thirty minutes of steady heat, then a cold glass of water. Here’s what our sauna pod is like, what people get from it, and who should check with us first.

Sitting somewhere warm and quiet for half an hour is one of the simplest ways to switch off.
Ours is a private pod rather than a big wooden cabin. You sit inside, the heat builds around you, and you come out whenever you’ve had enough.
What is a dry sauna?
A dry sauna heats the air (and you) without adding steam. Our pod is an upright, insulated fabric cabin with an electric heater and a window at the front. It’s private, and our team sets the temperature within the manufacturer’s range.
The benefits
Each one is marked with how sure we are. How it feels is what people tell us. Early evidence means small or mixed studies. Some evidence means there is more research behind it.
Warmth that helps you unwind
Heat makes most people feel loose and sleepy. It’s a good way to end a busy day.
A relaxing ritual
Studies, mostly on traditional Finnish saunas, link regular sauna use with relaxation and better sleep. Pods like ours haven’t been studied as much.
A warm-down after exercise
Plenty of people like a sauna after training. Drink water, and don’t push through feeling faint.
An easy pairing
It fits neatly before or after a float or the massage chair.
What does it feel like?
The first few minutes are pleasantly warm. By ten minutes most people are sweating; by twenty they’re very relaxed. You can step out whenever you like, and we’ll have water ready.
