Heat and light, 30 minutes

Dry Sauna

Dry heat in a pod of your own. The warmth builds, your shoulders drop, and you step out slower than you went in.

Design concept of a room with a black sauna pod with a glowing window
Illustrative design concept, not a photograph.

Ten minutes in, the heat has found your back. Twenty minutes in, your thoughts have slowed to match it. You come out, drink cold water, and feel that loose, heavy, good kind of tired.

What happens on the day

  1. 1ArriveA few quick health questions.
  2. 2SettleChange, take a seat in the pod, close the door.
  3. 3Warm throughThirty minutes. Step out whenever you have had enough.
  4. 4LingerCold water, a seat in the lounge, nowhere to be.

What you might notice

Everyone is different. This is what people tell us most.

  • Muscles that have let go
  • Thoughts that have slowed
  • A clear head after a long day
  • A sleepy warmth later on

Benefits

Dry heat raises your core temperature by a degree or so. Your heart rate rises as it would on a brisk walk, blood vessels open, and muscles let go. Cooling down afterwards is what brings the calm.

2–3×a week is the rhythm regular sauna-goers settle into
  1. 01Heart and circulationHeat widens blood vessels and gives the heart a gentle workout
  2. 02Muscle relaxation and sorenessWarm tissue loosens; stiffness after exercise eases
  3. 03Better sleepThe fall in body temperature after a sauna mirrors what happens at bedtime
  4. 04Stress and moodTwenty quiet minutes with nothing to do, then the release of cooling down
  5. 05Skin and detoxSweating is pleasant, but the body clears toxins through the liver and kidneys, not sweat
Session length30minutes, stepping out whenever you have had enough
Frequency2–3times a week to feel the difference
To feel the rhythm8weeks of regular use

Our pod is smaller and gentler than a traditional Finnish sauna. Drink water before and after, and do not push through feeling faint.
