Goggles on, the canopy glows. It feels like late sun on your face. Most people lie still and let the quarter hour pass.

- 1ArriveWe ask about medicines and light sensitivity.
- 2SettleGoggles on, canopy above, nothing touching your skin.
- 3RestFifteen to twenty minutes of warm red light.

What you might notice
Everyone is different. This is what people tell us most.
- A calm, warm stillness
- A quarter hour that is entirely yours
- Straight back to your day
- Smoother skin over time, some people say
Benefits
Red and near-infrared light passes a few millimetres into the skin, where cells absorb it and work slightly harder. The effect builds over weeks of regular sessions rather than in one visit.
- 01Skin texture and fine linesLight stimulates the cells that produce collagen
- 02Healing of blemishes and minor marksIncreased cell activity supports normal repair
- 03Muscle recoveryNear-infrared light reaches muscle and may reduce soreness after exercise
- 04Joint stiffnessWarmth and light together may ease stiff hands, knees and shoulders
- 05Mood in darker monthsA warm, bright quarter hour lifts many people
Results build slowly and differ from person to person. There is no UV, so no tan and no burn. Eye protection is always provided.
